The harsh winter is always a terrible nightmare for stray animals when they are all alone in the cold with no shelter to protect them from the elements. If a small puppy has to face such cruel weather conditions, there’s a good chance that he will not be able to make it after only a few hours.

That’s why when the rescuers at the Love Furry Friends in Ukraine heard about a poor boy standing alone in the snow, they immediately sprung into action. The team quickly found the mentioned spot, but the puppy was nowhere to be seen. Obviously he moved in the hope of avoiding the cold.

The rescuers continued to search around, and luckily they spotted the pitiful canine trembling hopelessly in a corner nearby not long afterward.

One of the kind-hearted women rapidly wrapped him in her coat to keep him warm, and they rushed to the vet together.

Even though they saved the puppy in time, it was clear that he wasn’t in good health. The little boy looked so thin and weak and his body temperature wasn’t normal either, so they had no choice but to let the pup stay there until he got better.

They named him Archie, and Archie became much happier after he recovered 10 days later and officially joined the Love Furry Friends family – where he has no trouble eating and playing with his new pals. The skinny boy has gained a little weight and looks so strong and cheerful in his new home.

Archie even gets adopted by an amazing Rottweiler named Remy, who takes good care of him. The two are inseparable now, they love to do everything together!
